The Opportunity

Our client is a small, well-funded healthcare SaaS company entering a significant phase of growth. They are seeking a Fullstack Engineer who can move fluidly across the technology stack and build the interfaces, data models, services, and APIs that power a sophisticated enterprise software platform.

You’ll join a small, experienced team of engineers, designers, and subject-matter experts building technology used by senior enterprise stakeholders. This is an opportunity for an engineer who enjoys ownership, solving complex problems, and contributing across the stack rather than operating within a narrowly defined engineering function.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, deeply curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where engineers have meaningful influence over the product and technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend data models, services, and APIs, evolving them as the platform scales.

• Translate wireframes and prototypes into production-grade user interfaces.

• Help evolve frontend architecture and reusable component patterns.

• Own features end-to-end, moving fluidly between frontend and backend development.

• Build for performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

• Communicate technical tradeoffs that influence system design and platform evolution through documentation, diagrams, prototypes, and code.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and subject-matter experts to accelerate development, resolve bugs, and improve the user experience.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and shipping full-stack features for enterprise software products.

• Strong backend development experience using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Experience building REST APIs and working extensively with SQL.

• Strong frontend development experience using TypeScript and React.

• Experience implementing user authentication and authorization in production systems.

• Solid cloud fundamentals, including CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and object storage.

• Strong grounding in data structures, algorithms, and system design.

• Genuine full-stack depth with the ability to independently take features from concept through production.

Nice to Have

• Experience securely handling data in regulated environments such as healthcare or financial services.

• Experience with agentic AI workflows, including RAG development and prompt management.

• Experience programmatically generating PowerPoint presentations or Excel workbooks.

• Experience with AI-forward software development practices.
